HB was founded by Northern Michigander Trevor Huffman. Coach Huffman is a former 13-year pro player and overseas head coach with a short stop with the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Filous Oostende (Belgium), Okapi Aalstar, and Antibes Sharks (France). Coach Huffman is the all-time leading scorer at Kent State University, and was a two-time Mid-American Conference Tourney MVP, Elite Eight appearance, NCAA Mid-Major All-American, and three-time national champion in the overseas leagues. Coach Huffman and Coach Wills Lee have made HB a collective of pro and college players who love coaching, training, and giving back to the next generation of basketball players by teaching the HB methodology, building a unified basketball development program, and training camps all over the North.
